On site laundry facilities were a godsend and only 1.Located in Ayia Nappa, the 4-star Tsokkos Paradise Holiday Village features an outdoor, free-form pool surrounded by a furnished sun terrace, an indoor pool, a fitness centre and a sauna. The pool area was kept lovely and clean, sunbeds were free and so were the the umbrellas if you wanted one but there are plenty of shady areas to sit in. The hotel has a 24 hour bar/snack bar which did get a bit noisy for a couple of hours during the early hours when the 18-30 lot were coming in from the clubs but the staff did their best to keep it toned down a bit if things got too loud. The apartments we stayed in were clean, had air conditioning (extra cost but worth it),microwave, comfy beds and ours had 2 lovely big balconies, the only thing that was a bit difficult to live with was the bright yellow 70's style bathroom suite(yuk!). Stayed at these apartments with my (extended)family which included every age group from 2 year olds to 70 odd year olds, so I thought there were bound to be complaints from all sides. Got used to the apartment in the end, did spoil the holiday a little but the weather was brilliant mid september. Location great, not too near the noise but a quick walk to the clubs and restaurants. The pool area however was fantastic, clean, tidy and up to standard, staff were good, didn't hassle you, food was nice. We weren't moved so had to put up with it after 2 failed attempts to fix it, we gave up asking! Our room wasn't pool view, it had a very smelly view of a dirty back alley with dumpsters right below the balcony, needless to say we never sat on it once. Our toilet was leaking huge puddles in the floor, we asked to be moved and they sent someone to fix it.it wasn't fixed, still leaked, un-hygienic, unpleasant. On closer inspection it was extremely dirty, room facilities were below average, the tv didn't work (we didn't want to watch it but seeing as you're paying for it, it should!) The bathroom seemed ok until you pulled back the shower curtain and the ceiling was black with mould. On entering the room it seem ok, basic, but what you'd expect for a cheap deal. When we arrived it was about 5am, we were exhausted, we had to drag out suitcases in pitch black through one complex, over a road and into another where our apartment was, with no help.
